short version: this page collects nothing. booking and membership happen in a system we do not own, and that system does collect things. below is exactly what, and what you can do about it.

the site is static. it sets no cookies of its own, it runs no analytics and it carries no advertising or tracking pixels. the typefaces and photographs are built into each page rather than fetched from anywhere else, so simply reading the site does not tell a third party that you were here.
the pages are served by Vercel Inc., which keeps short-lived server logs including your IP address for security and to keep the site running. the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website.
class booking, registration, memberships and payment run on a third-party studio management platform. when you register, book a class, buy a membership or use the timetable and sign-up screens on this site, that platform receives and stores your details directly: typically your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, purchase history and attendance record. its own privacy notice and terms apply, alongside this one.
the legal basis is performance of the contract between you and us, and our legal obligation to keep accurate accounting records.
that platform is operated from the United States, so your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. the transfer relies on the provider's standard contractual clauses.
the form on the contact page does not send anything. it assembles what you typed into a message in your own email programme, which you then choose to send. we receive it as an ordinary email. if you would rather not use it, write to us directly at the address above.
we keep enquiry emails only for as long as it takes to answer them and, where you go on to join, for as long as we hold your membership record. the legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
if you message us on whatsapp or instagram, your message and profile details are handled by Meta under its own terms, not ours. we see what you send us. we do not export those conversations anywhere else.
membership and booking records are kept for as long as you are a member. afterwards, invoices and the records behind them are kept for ten years, because Portuguese tax law requires it of us. enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once they are answered.
under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use of it, object to processing we base on legitimate interest, and ask for it in a portable format. where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done before you did.
