What we do with your details.

Who is responsible.

The controller of your personal data is Primal Moves Lisbon, LDA, NIF 518355144, with its registered office at Rua Projectada à Matinha, Bloco A, 1.º B, 1950-327 Lisboa, Portugal. The studio itself is at Calçada do Marquês de Abrantes 54, 1200-656 Lisboa.

Write to lisbon@primalmoves.com about anything on this page, and put "privacy" in the subject line so it does not sit behind the class enquiries.

This website.

The site is static. It sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising or tracking pixels of ours. The typefaces, photographs and styles are files served from this site itself, not fetched from anyone else.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies. A visit is recognised by a hash made from the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next or across other websites. For each page view it records the time, the page address and the address you came from, your approximate location (country, region and city), and the type of device, operating system and browser. We see totals, not people. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used.

The pages are served by Vercel Inc., which keeps short-lived server logs including your IP address for security and to keep the site running. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website.

Booking, classes and membership.

Class booking, registration, memberships and payment run on a third-party studio management platform. When you register, book a class, buy a membership or use the schedule and sign-up screens on this site, that platform receives and stores your details directly: typically your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, purchase history and attendance record. Its own privacy notice and terms apply, alongside this one.

The buy buttons, and the Book buttons on the schedule, are ordinary links. They open the platform's own pages, where its own cookies and terms apply, and they load nothing from it while you are still here. The schedule on this site is fetched from the platform by our own server, so while you read it your browser talks only to this site and nothing about you is passed on. The one exception is the sign-up screen on the join page, which is supplied by that platform and loads from its servers. When we last checked, in October 2026, it set a Mixpanel cookie in your browser under this site's address and loaded a product called Pendo. That measurement belongs to the platform. We do not receive it. You can block or delete that cookie in your browser, and you can always sign up in the app instead.

If you sign up through a member's invitation link, the form on that page sends your first name, last name, email address and mobile number, with the invitation code, to our own system, which creates your account on the booking platform.

The legal basis is performance of the contract between you and us, and our legal obligation to keep accurate accounting records.

That platform is operated from the United States, so your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. The transfer relies on the provider's standard contractual clauses.

The contact form.

The forms on the contact page and the host an event page send your name, your email address and what you write to us as an email. It is delivered by Postmark, an email delivery service of ActiveCampaign, LLC in the United States, which handles the message on our behalf and keeps a copy for 45 days. That transfer outside the European Economic Area relies on the provider's standard contractual clauses. This website itself stores nothing you type. If you would rather not use the form, write to us directly at the address above.

We keep enquiry emails only for as long as it takes to answer them and, where you go on to join, for as long as we hold your membership record. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

WhatsApp and Instagram.

If you message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, your message and profile details are handled by Meta under its own terms, not ours. We see what you send us. We do not export those conversations anywhere else.

What we never do.

• We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone for their own marketing.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you walked in, filled in a form or bought a class. Marketing email goes only to people who asked for it, and every one carries an unsubscribe link.
• We do not make automated decisions about you.

How long we keep things.

Membership and booking records are kept for as long as you are a member. Afterwards, invoices and the records behind them are kept for ten years, because Portuguese tax law requires it of us. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once they are answered.

Your rights.

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use of it, object to processing we base on legitimate interest, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done before you did.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

Changes.

When this notice changes, the date below changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
